Therefore, the crown chakra and the base chakra are outside the corporeal self. It is also worth mentioning that the chakras do not exist in the physical body but within the auric field. If this remains unresolved, it finally manifests itself physically in throat disorders such as laryngitis or cancer. This suppression affects them on a mental level (the telling internalized of stories), producing an emotional response (resentment, sadness etc.). For instance, a person who has held their tongue their entire life may misalign themselves from their Divine purpose by not expressing their truth. What is particularly noteworthy here is that things that manifest themselves on the physical level begin on the divine level first. Ketheric Body/True Self – links us to the super-conscious, God or ‘higher truth.’ Casual Body (Celestial body) – where we experience the spirit world.ħ. Etheric Template (Spiritual Body) – associated with Divine Will.Ħ. Astral Body – This is where our auras merge and interact with other living beings (including animals and plants).ĥ. Mental Body – Mental concepts in a rational world.Ĥ. Emotional Body – The level for emotions.ģ. Physical body – The corporeal matter of beings.Ģ. Each layer shares the same colour as their respective chakra (easily remembered as they’re in the same order as the rainbow), and each with its own unique function. The same could be said of healing disciplines, which is also heavily charka-centric. Indeed, it is through the aura that we receive the information, not the chakras. For example, in psychic and mediumistic practices, many know that the third eye governs clairvoyance (clear seeing), the throat chakra rules clairaudience (clear hearing) etc., yet, they do not know that there is a direct correlation between the auric system and the chakra system. This energy comes into the body via the crown chakra at the top of the head (hence the name) and travels along channels, called nadis, of which there are approximately 72,000. This is an aura.Īs human beings, we radiate a very low level of electricity that’s otherwise known as an electromagnetic field. Another part that is not as dense or slow as the physical wavelength yet still maintains a form. One level of the energy has a reverberance that is a physical form. This, in some ways, could be seen as a reaction to the energy they radiate.Įvery substance on the planet has an emanation of this energy. Some people make you nervous – others relax you. One way to think of auras is as the ‘energy’ someone around you omits. Essentially, the fact you’re alive and not a corpse is this vital force circuiting the body. So, an aura, or auric field, emanates from this energy that surrounds you this is your life force (known as prāṇa in Indian cultures and qì/chi in Eastern philosophies). Similarly, even things that appear ‘solid’ are oscillating at the molecular level. Then, scientists split the atom and discovered that this isn’t the case, for truly, everything in the Universe is made up of energy, vibrating at different frequencies. Before the nuclear age, the common perception was that everything was made up of matter.
